new little people, new big people

Today was all about meeting people. First I had the pleasure of meeting Kareem, a 48-hour old baby boy who is so cute and so tiny. It's amazing how small newborns are. But the best part was seeing my bro's reaction. He was absolutely stunned by the experience of seeing such a small baby. I would love to see him try to hold a baby, he actually never did. And when Kareem opened his beautiful greenish eyes for 2 seconds, my bro was so excited that Kareem might have caught a glance of his carefully-chosen orange shirt and so he would be the one who introduced the orange colour into Kareem's world :)

Then it was time for the big people. I also had the pleasure of meeting someone I should have met long ago. He is the founder of Eurosafaris and we had a very nice chat about the vision of the group and its future development. There was also a nice bunch of people working in different countries in different fields but with an apparent common interest in cool things like travelling :)

Oh, and speaking of new things, today I got a new comment from my bro.. he likes the way I drive. cool :) for those of you who don't have big brothers, it's a big thing when a big brother complements the way his little sis drives :) right? :)

it was an experience for me really... my god, he's so small.. i've seen them before on tv but never that close.. it's a challenge to even touch them (not to mention lift them up and hold them!!).. u feel they r so pure just like angels and u don't want to touch them with ur human-being, dirty-in-comparison nature.. now i know it's a miracle...

may u live a happy life, kareem :)
(and actually like grow old enough to, maybe, read this)
