Mission Marriage: 11/5/2006

Song of the day:

I finally found someone
Who knocks me off my feet
I finally found the one
That makes me feel complete
It started over coffee
We started out as friends
It's funny how from simple things
The best things begin

This time is different
And it's all because of you
It's better than it's ever been
'Cause we can talk it through
My favouite line was
"Can I call you sometime"
It's all you had to say
To take my breath away

This is it, oh I finally found someone
Someone to share my life
I finally found the one
To be with every night
'Cause whatever I do
It's just got to be you
My life has just begun
I finally found someone

Did I keep you waiting? I didn't mind
I apologise, baby that's fine
I would wait forever just to know you were mine
You know I love your hair
Are you sure it looks right?
I love what you wear
Isn't it too tight?
You're exceptional
I can't wait for the rest of my life

This is it, oh I finally found someone
Someone to share my life
I finally found the one
To be with every night
'Cause whatever I do
It's just got to be you
My life has just begun
I finally found someone

Wish me a happy day everyone. And of course you know what the next post should be:

After a lot of running around, both me and Ali got our shoes in one day.. yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay :)

Why can't brides just wear trainers? No one will notice the difference really.. :)

Mission Marriage: Day 8

Since I woke up this morning and while I was writing the previous post, all I could think of is the countdown they do in movies.. 10 9 8 ... I wish I could just do that now and in a matter of seconds I will reach 1, the wedding party, and then total relaxation in our honeymoon away from everything. hmmmmmmmmm...

Mission Marriage: Day 9 (retrospect)

By the end of the day I was dead so no time to blog. Two important highlights of the day was (1) having the first dress trial, and (2) visiting the villa where the wedding will be held for the first time. My impression in both was great thank God. And of course, as I was running around here making decisions about lights and decoration and how many centimeters to be taken in from each side of the dress, Ali was also running around the house arranging things and getting to know the neighbours and spending his first night in our hut all alone. This was the only thing that bothered me and kept me awake till 3 am.. I really really wanted to be with him yesterday. Anyway, in the past few days I have been sleeping around the same time, which is not a very good idea for a bride about a week before her wedding, but what can I do? Let's hope things will get calmer soon.. (yeh right).

Mission Marriage: Day 10

The real hard work began today. Spent all day running errands and bought loads of stuff. I am absolutely beat now but at least it was a highly productive day. Oh, and I enjoyed driving again for the first time this vacation.

Wish I could be there with Ali tomorrow when he officially gets the keys of our hut.
